As far back as I can remember, I have always loved planning events and celebrations. With extensive experience in both the corporate and social sectors, as well as non-profits and universities, I love that each event brings new and unique aspects to the planning process. It brings me immense joy to help my clients actualize their vision, creating memories that will last a lifetime!

My passion for weddings started over ten years ago while working at The Ritz-Carlton, and continued as my career took me to various venues both locally as well as internationally. After years of working for luxury resorts and amazing venues, I built up an extensive network of industry professionals that I am proud to consider not only my colleagues, but also my friends. After being referred to many couples over the past few years, I decided it was time to take my planning expertise and start Coastside Weddings & Events. As a coastside native, I love sharing my intimate knowledge of this beautiful locale and I hope we have a chance to work together!

My Mission

Owner and primary event planner Kelsey Currier is a Half Moon Bay native who has spent her life traveling and experiencing events from different cultures throughout the world. Kelsey possesses a passion for cultivating memorable experiences, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to elicit the personal visions and ideas of her clients.

She brings her local knowledge, international experience, and a love of seeing all of the pieces fit into place to every event and client. The coast is a place to slow down and enjoy the view. Raised with this relaxed energy, Kelsey makes sure that the perfection she looks to build into all of her events feels calm and effortless to her clients.
